History

Crowne Plaza Milan City is a brand new hotel which opened during late 2008. The property forms part of a small family of three hotels that are based in Milan. The architecture of the Crowne Plaza Milan features a modern design by Max Minoja and art by the Italian/French artist Renè Gruau. Gruau (who took the name of his mother and muse Maria Gruau) has had his art commissioned and published by every major international haute couture house and magazine. He became famous for his Miss Dior advertisements and developed the NEW LOOK of Dior. Gruau’s perfect purity of line does not compromise the clear expression of every nuance of luxury and refinement. It is the ideal compliment to the Crowne Plaza Milan City’s design.
