MUSIC CLUB ‘ROUND MIDNIGHT – FIRST AID KIT

A neo folk live music show that is inspired and original –the girls may come from Sweden but they could have been the children of Bob Dylan and Dolly Parton. Playing from a very early age their vocals have matured and they describe their style best in one word… Bittersweet.  Happy songs with dreadfully sad lyrics, brutal and honeyed existing side by side it might be tempting to credit the long dark Scandinavian winters with their signature sound. Enjoy ‘Emmylou’, ‘Knoxville girl’ – inspired by their heroes Johnny Cash, Gram Parsons and Miss Harrison. This is an unusual musical delight provided by the Teatro Dal Verme.
